Hyundai Digitech Inc. is a growing cell phone refurbish manufacturer, are seeking a qualified, innovative production entry-level Engineer manager to join our organization. In this position, you will oversee and improve production processes.
Job Title : Materials Planner (OPT, H1B Visa Sponsorship Available)
Job Duties and Responsibilities (Materials Planner)
- Minimize discrepancies by monitoring inventory levels of raw materials
- Supervise the exact timing of delivery of parts and materials
- Collaborate with finance teams to reduce costs and optimize material utilization
- Raw material inventory management to improve site safety inventory levels and accuracy.
- Maintain adequate inventory levels to meet production schedules
- Continuous inventory availability management
- Introduction of new parts and planning and coordination of phase out of existing parts.
- Continuous communication with suppliers enables negotiation
- Cycle counting to maintain inventory accuracy
- Supervise accurate procurement of parts and materials.
- Match management of internal system inventory to actual inventory
- Production plan and order fulfillment accuracy.
- Prevent recurrence by investigating the cause of significant discrepancies.
- Identify potentially slow-moving inventory for availability
- Minimize inventory investment Maintain adequate inventory to support operations
- Receiving department and material management throughout the factory
- Supervision of inbound/outbound logistics and inventory management
- Defer orders or expedite processing based on production needs
- Balance inventory objectives and measurements with responsible volumes
- Compliance with safety regulations and compliance with company safety regulations.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree (BS or BA) is preferred.
- At lease 2 years experience in Materials Planning or related field.
- Working knowledge of MS Office.
- Strong working knowledge of Material Requirement Planning (MRP/ERP) systems.
- Exceptional analytical skills.
- Excellent problem solving skills.
- Ability to make quick decisions in dynamic fast paced environment.
- Authorized to work in the United State
